Wind
Wind systems use blades to collect the wind’s kinetic energy. The blades are connected to a drive shaft that turns an electric generator to produce electricity. Wind turbines need at least 12 MPH to spin enough to produce energy so the efficiency of these systems greatly depends on your geographical location.
Here at Clean Energy we provide three excellent systems; Whisper 100, 200 & 500. Whisper 100 is a 900 Watt small turbine that generates 60 kWHr per month with an average wind speed of 12 MPH. Whisper 200 a 1000 watt system that is designed to work in low to medium wind speed around 8 MPH. If the average wind speed is around 12 MPH this turbine with produce 130 kWHr per month. Whisper 500 is a 3000 watt system that was redesigned in 2004 to handle harsh high winds. With an average of 12 MPH this system will produce 333 kWHr per month.
